Characteristics
- Very robust construction with appropriate bearing and "classic" wall thicknesses.
- Thanks to the chopping function, the plaits typically produced in a tower-type digester are untangled or broken up.
- There is a continuous "cleaning up process" taking place, which maintains the useful volume in the digester tank.
- It is virtually impossible for the pumps to get blocked. Mixing is more homogeneous.
- Agitators can work more effectively, imbalances due to adhering long fibres are progressively reduced.
- There is no need for an additional macerator. This saves the drive and maintenance costs associated with that. (This solution is often contemplated, when the tendency for blockages in the built-in recirculation pumps increases after some years of service.)
- Blockages in tubing as well as valves and fittings are avoided.
- The heat exchanger works more effectively, the need to carry out cleaning tasks is greatly reduced.
- The use of nozzles (or Rotamix) becomes a possibility.

- "Wet" priming system with permanent holding tank as dirt filter between medium and vacuum pump.
- No upstream cutting unit. Breaking up the solid matter into particles of a size that will allow it to be pumped is performed directly at the front edge of the blade.
- Apart from the macerating function, the feed pump also incorporates special internal parts to ensure that the feeding of the medium is performed without blockages.
- Self-cleaning device made from hardened steel behind the propeller.
- Internal parts made from heat-treated tool steel. Impact-resistant, hardened to approx. 550BHN.

Special features
Automatic mechanical vacuum control, with automatic self-priming function. The installation is conditionally safe to run dry and suitable for operation in conjunction with a generator thanks to its star/delta connection.
The pump is particularly well suited to feed / break down solid matter containing long fibres.
